Who is Tammy?

Tammy is a Canadian Paralympic Swimmer, Motivational & Keynote Speaker, 3x Parapan American Games Medalist, and Rio 2016 Paralympian.
After a life-threatening accident at age 6, Tammy started in down a long road of recovery. Once she was able, she was introduced to the world of Para Sports which led her to pursue a successful and inspiring athletic career. She's played basketball at a national level, competed in triathlon and hand-cycling events, downhill skied, and also enjoys paddle boarding. Most impressive of all though, is the time she has spent as a Paralympic level swimmer. Tammy has won multiple medals, currently holds 6 records, and continues to train.

Outside of her training and athletic career, Tammy has now taken on the important task of sharing her story. She's an athletic ambassador and motivational speaker visiting schools, businesses and organizations to share her inspiring story of perseverance and discipline. A role model for youth (especially young women) and a shining example of what determination and strength truly look like.

Suffer the pain of discipline,
or suffer the pain of regret.
